Trail Conditions:
The Summerstown Trail system will be closed for forest management activities beginning September 21.
The work includes the removal of dead and diseased trees, invasive species control, and Eastern Hemlock treatments. SDG Counties anticipate the work will wrap up by the middle of November. We will advise once the trail system reopens. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

-the Trillium bloom in early May (dates vary depending on weather, and it only lasts 10 days). In many parts of the forest, it literally carpets the forest floor.
