SKIFEST 2024

Our annual SKIFEST CHALLENGE, Sunday February 25. We will have loppet-style classic and skate ski races of various distances for the adult participants in the morning, while the younger kids will race in the afternoon.

Challenge yourself to ski our beautiful Summerstown trails as part of our ski loppet. A loppet is a Scandinavian term for a cross-country skiing event. While our loppet will be timed, it is also a chance to come out and enjoy skiing in a group no matter your skill level. There are a variety of race distances and techniques to satisfy from beginner to advanced.

FORMAT: mass start in the old parking lot– classic and skate technique

SUNDAY, FEB. 25 @ 10:00 A.M.: ADULT RACES
Please arrive a bit earlier to pick up your racing bib.

RACE DISTANCES:
- Classic ski: 6, 8 and 13 km loops
- Skate ski: 8 km loop

SUNDAY, FEB. 25 @ 1:30 P.M.: KIDS RACES

RACE DISTANCES:
- 1, 2 and 3 km loops

COST: free for FOTST members, $10 for non-members
