KIDS PROGRAMS 2025-2026

FOR KIDS aged 4 to 12

The overall objective of the program is to assist children in the development of a love of the outdoors, a healthy lifestyle, technical skills and a good level of physical fitness within a sport environment.

• Cost $67 (8 sessions)

• Every Sunday, at 1:00 pm, starting January 11 to February 22 (Skifest Race Day).

• Seasonal Ski Package Rental available for $60 (entire season). There is limited availability.

• Children may be grouped according to ability and not age.

• Registration cost includes membership in Nordiq Canada and Cross Country Ski Ontario (National Capital District) which provides insurance for the participants.

Bunny Rabbits (ages 4-5)

• Session length approximately 40min

JackRabbits Level 1 (ages 6-8)

• Session length approximately 60min

Track Attack (ages 8-12)

• Session length approximately 60 to 80min

ADULT LESSONS 2025-2026

FOr Youths and adults

The lessons offer instructions for beginner skiers, in either classic ski techniques (including diagonal stride, double pole, uphills and downhills) OR skate ski techniques (including one skate, two skate, offset and free skate).

• Cost $60 (3 sessions, possibly 4)

• Seasonal Ski Package Rental available for $100 (entire season). There is limited availability.

Classic lessons

• Session length approximately 60 min

• Every Wednesday in January, starting January 14, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (three possibly four sessions)

Skate LESSONS

• Session length approximately 60 min

• Every Tuesday in January, starting January 13,

• 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (three possibly four sessions)
